Turnbuckles and rigging screws are devices used in the lifting industry for tensioning and adjusting the length of wire rope and other components. These devices normally consist of a metal frame with a threaded piece in each end; one with a multitude of attachment methods. Tension can be adjusted by rotating the frame engaging the threaded conponent reducing or increasing the turnbuckles length.
